Statutory sick pay estimator, 2026 to 2027 rules
From 6 April 2026 statutory sick pay is the lower of the weekly rate or 80 percent of the employee's average weekly earnings. This estimator shows the weekly and daily amount. It is free and nothing you type leaves your device.
Weekly rate used: £123.25, from the GOV.UK statutory sick pay page, last checked 17 Oct 2026. The rate changes each April. This is an estimate to help you prepare. It does not check whether the employee is eligible, how average weekly earnings should be worked out, or when payment starts and stops. Amounts may differ by a penny because of rounding.
